Forms plus the registration fee must be received to ensure your child's placement.

Riding Camp is for riders 7-17 only.  If your 7-year-old is very small or very timid, you may want to wait till next year to try this camp as it is quite rigorous, and campers must take care of their own horses.

Our camp is Monday-Thursday 8 am-noon, and campers may be dropped off as early as 7:30 am.  On Friday, camp begins at 5:30 pm so that they can have family and friends come to watch what they have learned.  The camp will end by 8:30 pm on Friday.

Each session includes horses, tack, helmets, snacks, and crafts for memories.

Bring your extended family, as it's quite a transformation. Our extraordinary lesson horses give confidence even to timid riders.

Pre-registration tuition for each camp session is $350.
Please reserve your child's session before May 15, 2023. Late registrations ($50 late fee) are to be added to our waitlist.

Cancellations must be made at least 8 days PRIOR to the beginning of your session, or fees are non-refundable.

Sign-up your lucky, horse-crazy kids now
for an amazing, fun, and educational horseback riding summer day camp with great exercise, and lots of fresh air with no electronic devices needed.

Your kids will learn good horsemanship and riding. They will learn to groom and saddle their own horses, ride, learn conformation terms, play equestrian games, have great snacks, and participate in memorable crafts. There is always something fun and new to enjoy on the farm!

They will have the opportunity
to have all the horse time they can handle! We'll create plenty of memories, pictures, tie-dye shirts, and other things to take home at the end. (Some of the camp horses may be for sale after both camp sessions.)

Your young rider will be assigned their own horse to ride each day. Yes; this means each rider has their own camp horse all to themselves.

Summer campers with their own horses are more than welcome to bring their own horse as we have boarding available ($15 per day,) for each camp session. We have plenty of sweet, friendly horses and ponies available for campers' use!

We will be teaching the elements of roping, and dressage, as well as pole bending, barrel racing, and of course, jumping. Establishing a sound equestrian foundation is our goal.

Call or message now to get a summer riding camper's registration form. Space is limited. Slots are only reserved once a signed form and payment have been received, so hurry!  Print fill out and mail your registration form soon.

RLA Angel AlAmal ridden by a summer riding camp childKids must wear tucked-in or close-fitting shirts; long pants (absolutely NO skirts, not even over pants); and boots. Boots may be Western or Paddock style (not rain boots). (Search online for what paddock boots are.) Sunglasses on a lanyard are highly encouraged.

If they have safety riding helmets, please send them with your camper. Otherwise, we have some child's helmets they can use. Be sure the clothes they wear can get dirty. Some days we will also be painting.

Kids may attend one or all summer riding camp sessions, but the price is per session. Please call or message Lisa Robertson at 979-229-3622 to request a registration form.

We do not recommend afternoon plans for your kids, regardless of age, as they are tired after their day at riding camp and often ready to go home and rest up for the next fun-filled day. (They will probably just eat and sleep!) We look forward to seeing you in the Summer of 2023!
